You can also have your own wording added to the baby shower invitations to further personalize the design and match that design with mailing labels and party decorations and favors. Baby shower invitations generally follow themes revolving around either the sex of the baby or the interests of the expectant parents. Regardless of the theme, though, certain information should always be included in baby shower invitations, such as date, time and location of the shower with names of the expectant mother and hostess, driving directions for out of town guests, and baby registry location. Some baby registries will even provide cards for inclusion with the baby shower invitations as an extra touch. Also be sure to include special instructions relating to meals and gifts, if necessary, and RSVP particulars.
