Birth announcements and discovering more
Birth announcements should go to family and close friends and friends of the happy grandparents and to anyone who has already sent a gift to the new parents. At a minimum, you should include the names of the baby and proud parents and siblings (if any) and birth statistics such as length and weight and date of birth on your birth announcements. Birth announcements etiquette also dictates that they be sent any time up to six months after the birth, so you will have time after the baby arrives to finalize and send them out. You will save yourself some stress, though, if you select your birth announcements design before the birth, while you still have some time to yourself. The selection process will only add to the excitement and anticipation.
